Grown in the high-altitude region of Maubisse in East Timor, this Organic and Fair Trade certified coffee is produced by thousands of smallholder farming families dedicated to preserving the island's rich coffee heritage. Nestled within the Ainaro district, the region's mountainous terrain, fertile soils, and ideal climate create exceptional conditions for cultivating high-quality Arabica coffee.
Coffee has been an integral part of Timor's history since its introduction by Portuguese settlers in the early 19th century. Today, generations of farmers continue this tradition, carefully tending small family-owned plots, often less than a hectare in size. The result is a distinctive coffee that reflects the resilience, culture, and natural beauty of one of the world's most unique coffee-growing origins.
